Deutschland celebration

One of my sister's best friends got married last May in her new husband's home country Germany. This is also the country where our Mother was born, and since we had never visited, this was the perfect time to go.
The wedding was in a beautiful centuries old church, followed by a reception at Tao restaurant (where this picture was taken) to celebrate the bride's Chinese heritage.
The main reception was an all night affair, located in a beautiful castle, and everyone dance and celebrated until sunrise (yes, literally sunrise!). Later that morning was a beautiful brunch to shower the couple with love as they started their new life together as husband and wife. It was a fabulous week in Germany and I can't wait to scrapbook more of the photos and events of this once in a lifetime celebration.
The pink floral background paper is Autumn Leaves, the circular butterfly paper is from SEI and I handmade the 3D roses using Martha Stewart cardstock.

Dream On!

One of my dearest friends, upon approaching what she considers a "significant" birthday, shared with me she felt as though she was at a crossroads in her life. She really wanted to start stepping out of her comfort zone , experience new things and take action to make her long held dreams come true.
I told her it's never too late, and since one of my favorite things in life is to uplift and inspire other women to go after their hearts desires, I created this card to encourage her along her journey.
The paper is Webster's, and is actually vellum that I adhered to white cardstock to help it stand out and added gold glitter for an accent.
